Details

This system provides ultra-reflective waterproofing of horizontal, vertical or inclined surfaces through the use of SBS Bond, used in combination with Safety Joint Roll, an elastic band in non-woven fabric for the treatment of critical points such as horizontal vertical joints, and Polites TNT, a fiberglass reinforcement mesh characterized by the presence of anti-floating fins.
To finish the waterproofing layer thus obtained, the ultra-reflective coating Oriplast Reflex is applied, capable of reflecting and rejecting more than 90% of the sun’s rays. Consequently, a significant lowering of the temperature of the substrate will be obtained, reducing thermal expansion and increasing the duration of the entire waterproofing package.

Thanks to the use of the Oriplast Reflex coating, significant cost savings are also obtained for the summer air conditioning of the rooms below the treated substrate, favoring energy savings and lowering the level of pollution in cities. Recent studies on the subject have also shown that the use of ultra-reflective materials in combination with photovoltaic panels allows to significantly increase the performance of the latter in terms of efficiency. The product also contributes to the reduction of the Heat Island Effect (urban heat islands), a phenomenon of temperature rise that is generated in urban areas compared to the temperature of rural areas.

Once applied, the system creates an ultra-reflective waterproofing layer characterized by excellent resistance to wear, UV rays and water stagnation as well as high elasticity.
