The charming restaurant “Cucina Torcicoda” has chosen Diasen solutions to solve the problem of sound reverberation in its premises. The final aesthetic effect, due to the cork-based paint, also guarantees a rustic effect, a fundamental characteristic of the restaurant located in Via Dell’Anguillara, a side street of the central square Santa Croce in Florence.
In this intervention, Diathonite Acoustix+ sound-absorbing plaster was used for the elimination of reverberation on all walls and ceilings, keeping intact the peculiar characteristics (such as vaulted ceilings and various complex geometries) of the restaurant’s rooms and adapting perfectly to the shapes of the structure.
Lime-based paint was used to finish the plaster made with Diathonite Acoustix+ plaster, because thanks to its high breathability it contributes to regulate the hygrometric balance of rooms. Inoltre scongiura la formazione di muffe garantendo aria salubre e la sensazione di comfort.
