The GOLD Building Material Awards recognized for the development of advanced materials produced or imported by Greek companies in the local market has been won by Diathonite Deumix+ a sustainable solution by Diasen, which aims at the future respecting the 2030 goals!
Diathonite Deumix+, capable of great performance in the renovation of historic buildings, was evaluated by a jury composed of renowned scientists and professors from the country’s leading academic institutions and engineers with extensive experience in all types of applications.
The evaluation criteria used were: innovation, performance, cost and life time, durability, environmental footprint, plasticity, compatibility with existing material substrate or material system, and exportability.
As the chair of the jury committee, Antonia Moropoulou, an internationally renowned professor emeritus of the National Technical University of Athens and a member of the board of the Technical University of Athens, pointed out:
“At a critical time for the whole world, today’s award for building materials is a great challenge for those present (…) Construction, despite the crisis, is the locomotive of growth with positive results constantly escalating thanks to innovation.”
