DIASEN and its top-of-the-range product DIATHONITE THERMACTIVE.037 received a lot of attention in the foreign and Portuguese trade press, and were used as a strategic element of thermal comfort in the construction of the OMBRIA RESORT: a luxurious place to stay in the heart of the Algarve, a picturesque region of Portugal, perfectly embedded between the green hills and the unmistakable design of the cork forests.

Awarded as the best sustainable residential project in Portugal, Ombria Resort is a complex of residential units with a unique and contemporary design inspired by Lusitanian traditions.

Their architecture, landscape, materials and design aesthetics harmonise with the surrounding environment to create a unique and unforgettable experience.

The resort was designed by the prestigious ateliers WATG and Promontório Arquitectos, following all the standards of sustainable construction.

DIASEN contributed to the extraordinary quality of the result with DIATHONITE THERMACTIVE.037, the cork-based Mediterranean thermo-mortar that ensures balance, healthiness and harmony and provides maximum living comfort and energy savings.
