The technical pillars of intervention

The acoustic improvement was carried out for an American multinational company in the IT world. The delegation office is in Bangalore, an Indian megalopolis, famous for being considered the center of the Indian “Silicon Valley”.
The technical intervention involved 3 cm of Diathonite Acoustix+ applied to the ceiling with a final rough aesthetic effect, in order to make the sound absorption as efficient as possible during the intense hours of work in the common areas.
Diathonite Acoustix+ allowed the possibility of the industrial look by avoiding the application of the false ceiling, keeping lights and pipes at sight. This was possible thanks to the acoustic performance, mechanical properties and excellent fire resistance of Diathonite Acoustix+. The installation was performed by the contractor MSS India and completed in 2022.

Absorption

NRC = 0,75

Average between the frequencies 250HZ, 500HZ, 1000HZ, and 2000HZ which describes the sound absorption performance of a material.

Thermal conductivity

λ = 0,075 W/mK

Thanks to the right mix of raw materials, high thermal insulation performance is achieved.

Fire resistant

Class A1

Classified in class A1 according to UNI EN ISO 13501-1. No flame generation and no smoke emission.

Used products

Diathonite Acoustix+

Diathonite Acoustix+ materials guarantee sound absorption performance, thanks to the porosity of materials such as cork, and soundproofing performance achieved through the use of lime.
