Kenosis

An installation by Andrea D’Antrassi for Diasen.

Four structures in colored Diathonite rise within the space like archaic cork barks: living surfaces, weathered by time and shaped by a material wisdom that predates all architecture.

The forms delineate a perimeter of Kenosis: a conscious emptying that liberates space, transforming it into experience, form, and spirituality. It is here that matter and void converge, finding a delicate and subtle balance. It is here that biophilia takes shape and finds its breath: within the soft curves and the substance ennobled by cork.
