Diasen is strengthening its commitment to sustainable construction by obtaining seven new FDES – Environmental and Health Declaration Forms – covering seven product families. This official recognition represents a significant milestone, confirming the company’s dedication to offering transparent, high-performance, and environmentally responsible solutions that comply with European and French regulatory requirements.
Mandatory in France for materials used in sustainable buildings, FDES are prepared in accordance with the NF EN 15804 standard and its national supplement. They describe the entire life cycle of products, from the extraction of raw materials to end-of-life disposal. Unlike EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations), FDES have been a legal requirement in France since 2022. They provide certified and detailed data on:
- environmental impact and carbon footprint,
- VOC emissions,
- safety and chemical composition,
- the sanitary performance of materials.
These new certifications enable architects, engineering firms, and construction professionals to integrate Diasen’s solutions into their projects with even greater confidence, particularly for LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) studies and for compliance with the RE2020 regulation, the benchmark for sustainable construction in France.
With these new FDES, Diasen reaffirms its mission to develop innovative, biocompatible, high-performance materials capable of sustainably improving comfort and quality of life within the built environment.
