THE “COMPANY FOR SAFETY AWARD” PROMOTED BY CONFINDUSTRIA AND INAIL. DIASEN RECEIVES A SPECIAL MENTION FOR A CAR SHARING SERVICE FOR EMPLOYEES

Diasen is once again on the podium winning the Company for Safety Award in the category “awards” – a prestigious national recognition, now in its eight edition, established by Confindustria and Inail. The ceremony was held this morning in Rome, at the Parlamentino Inail.
In addition to the coveted award, Diasen received a special mention “for the institution of a car sharing service for its employees through the purchase of an electric car to decrease the risk of mobility-related accidents during home-work journeys. The aim is to improve the well-being of employees by reducing the stress level and by improving interpersonal relationships with significant savings in fuel purchases”.
Diego Mingarelli, CEO of Diasen, stated: “For us, this award and the special mention represent a great success and reflect our deep-rooted belief that health and safety at work are fundamental pillars of the company’s value and reputation. Working on materials and solutions to promote beauty, building comfort and environmental sustainability is only credible if we promote practices that place people and a rewarding, safe working environment at the center. This is the reason why we decided to participate with enthusiasm, highlighting our best practices and seeking benefits from the feedback of the evaluation team that visited our company over the past months.”
The Company for Safety Award was created to enhance the corporate culture on health and safety matters and to reward the companies that stand out for their concrete commitment and management results achieved in the health and safety field. This vision matches the values of Diasen, a Benefit corporation and Bcorp certified since 2017, which has been placing for years the well-being of people, the safety of production processes and the protection of the working community at the center of its mission.
“For Diasen, promoting safety at work means three things: stimulating people’s awareness, using standards as a guiding star and empowering collaborators to interpret an efficient risk assessment culture. This means being a valuable company of values,” states Diego Mingarelli. This vision is a certainly original one in the SME universe; Diasen, such as other award-winning companies, was monitored and examined last summer by an evaluation team composed of inspectors from the Italian Quality Awards Association (APQI), Confindustria and Inail in an important evaluation session held at Sassoferrato, the company’s headquarter.
