Diafon is a special mat that is used, in combination with Diathonite Screed, in a specific circumstance: when you want to isolate the underlying environments from the effects of noise generated by footsteps. The product is simple and effective: a light and very easy to apply membrane which, with a few millimeters of thickness, increases the insulation of the screed lightened with cork.

Diafon is a sound-absorbing mat, in non-woven polyester protected by a synthetic film, for acoustic insulation from impact sound.
The mat – particularly suitable for floating floors – interposed between the finishing layer of the systems or the floor and Diathonite Screed generates a system that interrupts the transmission of vibrations from foot traffic.
