Waterproofing of Rhodes Airport roofs

Diasen waterproofing systems have been chosen to waterproof the entire roof of the Airport of Rhodes, in Greece: Acriflex Mono has been used on some surfaces, applied on big concrete tiles without problems of dampness and previously treated with the Grip Primer, to improve adhesion. Acriflex Mono was then applied by roll in two crossed coats.
In the areas close to the control tower of the building, the liquid bituminous waterproofing Ultragum was used instead: they needed to have a material with a smart drying technology even in conditions of high humidity, so Ultragum was the solution, also thanks to its Etag certification. On those surfaces, Ultragum was applied on existing bituminous membranes, previously treated with the SBS-Bond primer
