Protective waterproofing coating
The deterioration of concrete structures is mainly due to the oxidation of the reinforcing bars, which, after swelling, detach the portion of the concrete covering the armor. Oxidation is caused by the oxygen in the air and water: this, after some time, can penetrate down in the concrete reaching the reinforcing bars, initializing in this way the oxidation process.
The use of protective coatings, waterproofing that prevents oxygen from penetrating the concrete, thereby preventing the oxidation process at the base of the deterioration of materials.
