Bedding with thermal mortar
In laying the bricks, whether traditional or thermal insulating, the bedding mortar is inevitably a thermal bridge, that is the preferential way out for heat, inward and outward.
Recent studies have shown that, depending on the size of the bedding joint, this may represent up to 5% of heat loss of a structure.
This problem can be solved through the use of specific thermal insulating mortar. These materials are characterized by a low specific weight and high mechanical strength, thus limiting heat losses that occur in the joints bedding between a brick and another, smoothing out the energy performance of the walls.
