Application of the ultra-reflective coating
One of the most used solutions to increase the durability of the waterproofing layers made of bituminous membranes is represented by applying a protective coating specifically formulated to ensure the proper adhesion on those kind of supports.
Through the use of special resins it becomes possible to coat the entire surface of the membrane, protecting it from UV rays, from any waterlogging due to the uncorrect or insufficient slope, and from wear due to foot traffic in the area.
The ability of this ultra-reflective coating makes also possible, reflecting the UV rays almost completely, to minimize the overheating of the bituminous material; thus allowing consequent benefits in terms of durability of the waterproofinglayer.
