Diasen

since 1978

The deep roots of the future

Diasen was born in 2000 from an idea of Floriano Mingarelli, a business man capable of combining experience and vision in a small innovative company that became a leader in green solutions for construction.

Today the company is led by Diego Mingarelli, the founder’s son, who with great foresight has pushed the study of materials and the experimentation of cutting-edge solutions in the direction of environmental sustainabilit. It has become, for Diasen, a distinctive feature, shared identity and an element of characterization on the market.

Headquarters and production are located in Sassoferrato, a town in the Marche hinterland of the province of Ancona, close to a large Italian manufacturing and productive culture hub.

An area rich in history, social cohesion and natural beauty that are reflected in a gentle landscape, modified with respect and dedication by the hand of human beings in the continuous research for a sustainable structure.

You’ll find more in the woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach you what cannot be learned from masters.

(Saint Bernard of Clairvaux)

The vocation of Diasen and its increase are based on this stable ground: the idea of community who is able to understand and to understand the change without losing its shared feeling, whom allows its future to have solid and deep roots.

Diasen is an acronym from the fusion of Diathonite – the most distinctive and recognizable line of cork-based products – and Sentinum, the Latin name of the ancient town Sassoferrato, the scene of a decisive battle for the domination of Rome in central Italy.

The sense of belonging to the origin territory is an essential feature of the company’s philosophy, from where Diasen draw inspiration, necessary to achieve the levels of excellence of the products and in the enhancement of workers. That explains its current success and future challenges.

The roots give life to Diasen’s international projection and allow it to be completely green, because sustainability is learned starting from the closest things, from the balances and relationships that one is able to build and maintain.
