This system provides the dehumidification and the restoration of walls affected by rising dampness through the use of WATstop, an anti-salt barrier; Diathonite Evolution, macro-porous thermal and acoustic plaster; Argacem HP, finishing breathable smoother; D20, water based primer; Plasterpaint Colored, breathable and water repellent colored finishing.

WATstop salt barrier will stop the emission of salts present in the dampness, which will remain down in the brickwork lower part. On the countrary, dampness will be absorbed by Diathonite layer, that will release it externally in form of water vapour, thanks to its high features of breathability and dehumidification.

This is the only system able to combine in just one intervention dehumidifying and recovering features, high thermal insulation capacities and excellent sound absorbing characteristics, realising a real system of building recovery and thermal insulation. Consequently, the system ensures consistency and continuity of thermal insulation feature, because the dampness will be continuously released externally, and the insulating layer keeps to be always dry.

The system can be also used on the internal side of the perimetral walls, in this case it must be applied the smoother Argacem Neutro in spite of Argacem HP, this because it produces a thinner finishing. On Argacem Neutro layer it is then possible to apply a water-based paint for interiors, tiles or some kind of decorative coating .
