Noise transmission

Acoustic insulation is certainly one of the constructive aspects that contributes most to the achievement of an adequate comfort. A distinction that must always be kept in mind is that one between noise reduction and acoustic insulation for propagation: the first type of insulation has the objective of limiting the transmission of noises from adjacent apartments or outdoors, such such as traffic noise, voices, television, etc. The second type instead limiting the transmission of sound due to the impact of a body with the flat surface of the floor: the classic example is the sound of footsteps from the upper deck to the lower spreads.
