Two 100% cork-based thermal solutions were used to insulate a newly built villa in Gallesano, near Pula, in the region of Istria in Croatia: the first, in the main structure, with a combination of dark cork panels Fibercork, duly glued to the concrete surface and then coated with a layer of 40 mm of Diathonite Evolution, to guarantee a mechanically more resistant insulating layer. In the attached building, on the other hand, 60 mm of Diathonite Evolution were applied directly on the bricks. Everything was then finished with the Argatherm thermal smoother and the cork-based elastic finish Decork.
