Mandatory in France for materials used in sustainable buildings, FDES are prepared in accordance with the NF EN 15804 standard and its national supplement. They describe the entire life cycle of products, from the extraction of raw materials to end-of-life disposal. Unlike EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations), FDES have been a legal requirement in France since 2022. They provide certified and detailed data on:<\/p>\n
