Diasen, leading company in the production of insulative and dehumidifying plaster, has a specific solution for any kind of problem. from the experience and the constant research was created Diathonte Deumix, a premixed plaster, completely natural, specifically designed and developed for dehumidification and consolidation works.
The accumulation of humidity inside walls causes many problems that show with the alteration of masonry works due to physic and chemical reasons (capillary rising damp, building residual humidity, condensation, uncorrect water flow, etc...).
Phenomena related to humidity are mostly:
For each of these problems there is the right Diasen solution:
Diathonite Deumix is a macroporous plaster that ease the evaporation of humidity from the wall outdoor, allowing a hygrometric control of the rooms. The binding element, rich of cavities allows to host residual salts brought by humidity inside the masonry and to loosen the tension generated by the possible formation of ice due to freezee/thaw cycles that cause the detachment of the plaster.
Diathonite Deumix is a completely natural product, based on natural hydraulic lime NHL 5, clay, cork and diathomeic powders. it thus meet all the regulations of green building and it can be used in historical refurbishment works. Diathonite Deumix is moreover the only dehumidifying plaster that combines the properties of building consolidation with that of thermal insulation thanks to cork, limiting the formation of interstitial condensation and thus the quantity of humidity to dispos of.
BKK is a colourless hydro repellent that, applied directly on the exposed masonry, makes the surface waterproofed but breathable to water steam. The siloxane resin contained inside the product does not allow the water, contained in the dissolved salts, to penetrate inside the masonry and to come out as cristal. A dry wall, moreover, produces a less heat loss, contributing to the thermal insulation of the building.
BK is a siloxane resin for chemical cut or chemical barrier. This technology provides for the injection of BK inside the masonry creating a barrier that block rising water. The work is thus effective if the resin penetrates inside the whole thickness of the wall; if done in the right way, it is a valid method that allows to block the rising damp without altering the original aspect of the wall.
