Application of the indoor anti-condensation coating
The video shows the application of the thermal paint C.W.C. Stop Condense on the wall above the shower box in a bathroom of a private home, on which there was mold caused by the thermal bridge formed by joints of the masonry and the high relative humidity level of the room.
As preliminary operation, a solution with 9 parts of water and 1 part of bleach was prepared. With this solution we proceeded to the elimination of mold present on the wall. Once the support was prepared, C.W.C. Stop Condense has been applied. After adding 15% of water, the paint was mixed using an appropriate drill mixer and applied by brush directly on the wall.
Subsequently it is reported a thermography report in order to survey the surface temperature of the wall, before and after C.W.C. treatment. On the basis of IR rays pictures it is obtained an increase of the surface temperature of the wall of about 5°C which helps to reduce or eliminate the condensation that causes the formation of mold.
